About this deal

I'm also really glad that I saw the many reviews of this book on Goodreads that prompted me to seek it out. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). I'm not going to go through and change my review for it, but I just want to acknowledge that the current version(on kindle unlimited, at least) has been edited a bit more. Their relationship builds in a really natural and slow-burn type of way, and the enemies-to-lovers storyline was done so well. v=1692367702"}},"requires_selling_plan":false,"selling_plan_allocations":[]},{"id":41258314563720,"title":"+11.

I did think that the enemies to lovers was done well and felt realistic without being too rushed or forced. It's a good start for a debut novel and I think this author will only get better with some editorial help. Moreover, I really like the tension between Dianna and Liam, especially the banter at the beginning. She was my enemy, yet my enemy was the only one who seemed to understand me and the demons I fought. There are histories, war, languages, different realms and planets, severallllll different types of magical/paranormal creatures that still feel unique, and everything in between. Ma’am, that is Spanish…you had me believing they were saying these unheard-of languages, but no…it’s Spanish. To be fair the first few chapters or so I was still totally confused but once I kept reading it all came together.

Seriously, I cannot gush about this book more, I loved it so much and it completely consumed me from the first page. Who knew two supernatural beings could be brought together by their very human emotional traumas and turmoil? Dianna gave up herself to save her sister and is now a dangerous weapon who does not hesitate to use her powers even if they are used for wrong deeds. It follows both the protagonists as their stories entwine in dual POVs which connected the story in a totally graceful way. That relationship is central to the story and is a main driver behind much of Dianna’s actions and the plot of the story.

The setup was original and one of the things I liked the most about this book is definitely the plot; I had a lot of fun uncovering mysteries, learning about lore and betrayals, meeting the colorful cast of fantastic creatures, and following Dianna and Liam on their extremely bloody journey. I understand she’s trying to build a relationship with the sister to show us how much she means to Dianna, but she tells us about 85 times in the span of three chapters that she never gets to see Gabby, and this is such a rare occurrence. Also Samkiel: "I didn't remember how long we talked, but somewhere amidst her laughter and smiles, I decided I would rip the world apart for her. Paperback/Hardback The Book of Azrael is the first book in an adult fantasy Gods and Monsters series by Amber V. And even though we didn't get a lot of spice in this book, their interactions are full of angst and tension.
