It inspired me to attempt to be first in line for his upcoming show in London (did not succeed in this quest but got the tickets) and truly tuned me in to what a talented, fresh and exciting musician John Mayer is. Because after fine-tuning your taste over a lifetime, trusting someone else to curate your record collection can be scary. Not bad for a 77 yr old, having been into music for most of my life I am most impressed with not only his voice but also the very high quality of his guitar playing. Language - Regardless of country of origin all tracks are sung in English, unless otherwise stated in our description. Meanwhile, he carries on playing the guitar better than almost anyone around and writing really great songs in blues, country, pop and rock styles. The three segments of the show make this double album sound like three very different albums and there is a raw power to many of his songs that his studio albums don't quite capture.Mayer's music blends elements of blues, rock, and pop to create a unique sound that resonates with fans worldwide.
