About this deal

I have just brought the one you suggested, I have looked at it, and it seems alot better than the other one, I did think the other one looked very thin, and considering he is a strong boy, would most definately end up causing him to be sore.

before when Wilbury had a normal collar he was pulling so much he was nearly choking himself, now we can all walk with ease!

And my god - what a difference - i'm not saying it's all roses - especially when i first put it on, she still does her mental bit and struggles to the door, but once outside - she's a different dog, as soon as she feels the pressure on her chest - she goes slower.

I'd love to find one that is suitable for Cockers as I'd use it on Jasper so I could take them both out together by myself! Lot’s of dogs have shorter noses which means restraints like a head collar or muzzle won’t easily fit. This is because the Lupi Harness transforms a forward movement into an upward movement, therefore reducing the pulling. Large: Suitable for Bernese Mountain Dogs, bull mastiffs, great Danes, Saint Bernards or similar breeds. The Lupi harness is deal for dogs with short noses like Pugs and Bulldogs who do not easily wear a HALTI.As Jo says, I'm primarily using the harness now to prevent neck injury as it doesn't stop the pulling. We bought a harness for jasper that is metal with black rubber pads that goes round his chest and under his legs. As for the soreness - doesn't seem to be affecting ebbie at all - maybe cos her fur is so thick, or maybe it's because it's slightly too big so loosens as soon as she doesn't pull. I reccomend the canny collar too, I got it for Dixie after she had been spayed and it was really good. was ok with a harness for a while, but then started pulling then got caught in some wire so we didnt use that again, so we tried the head halti, which he was ok with the first day then mad as ever. A particular feature of the HALTI which is not shared by other designs of headcollar, is that it has an on-off muzzling action to close the dog's jaws. The harness makes such a difference to me - that i would now spend more - if i can find a suitable one. Up until a few weeks ago he would have started to walk to heel after a couple of times (albeit with a rather strange waddle ! It doesn't seem to get caught up in featherings (although i do make sure i trim her armpits so to speak). Our goal: To allow you to benefit from our expertise, by providing you with the best products available. Jasper loathed the kumfi head collar - was unbearable with it - and we did persevere so I wanted a harness.
