I finished my face with the COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Pressed Powder in medium. Since it’s formulated with a tapioca and aloe vera powder blend, it glided smoothly onto my skin. It brought the whole look together and made the glow more prevalent. I didn’t have to worry about looking too shiny or greasy because the powder didn't even give my face the chance. It absorbed any oil without appearing dried up or cakey. After applying two layers, I finished the rest of my makeup with bronzer, blush, some eyebrow gel, and mascara. I didn't feel like I needed to apply concealer anywhere except for the corners underneath my eyes where I usually have slightly blue dark circles. It won't cover up breakouts or dark spots if that's your goal, but if you want to make it look like you're not wearing any foundation at all, the Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation is a must. Though it calls itself a foundation, I think this complexion product from Covergirl is more of a tinted moisturizer. You get all-day hydration from coconut milk and aloe extract in the formula, which keeps it from getting patchy even if your skin tends to shrivel up in winter. My skin is on the drier side anyway, but not especially dehydrated or flaky because it’s still pretty warm where I live (winter will be a different story). I would not be able to wear this without moisturizer. Other Alternatives to Consider

As for hair care, coconut oil has pretty solid research showing that it can penetrate into the hair very well (better than mineral oil and sunflower oil) and it can prevent hair protein loss as well as combing damage. If you have problems with damaged hair, split ends, coconut oil is worth trying as a pre- or/and post-wash treatment. Labmuffin has an awesome blogpost explaining in more detail why coconut oil is good for your hair. Some reviewers mentioned bumps and lumps, but I didn’t notice it and suspect it has to do with the primer or moisturizer they used first (just a guess)

It blended easily and covered pretty well. I have used it several times. On the days my rosacea isn’t flaring up, its coverage is enough for me to feel like I look polished but not “made up.” When my (now-mild, so there’s just a little redness on my cheeks) rosacea is showing up, I need more coverage than this can provide.
