First off, in this post we finally get an official size for the Barbarian. He’s 6’7″, that’s huge! No wonder he plows through goblins like they’re not even there! Don’t take this the wrong way and think that I don’t like hQuestBuilder by saying I have ideas to improve the builder. The program is very good the way it is! These really are just my opinion on things that I would like to see added or improved on. The dramatic story of treachery and unrest in the elven kingdom continues in this HeroQuest Rise of the Dread Moon expansion! As a brave knight, you’re challenged to finally free Elethorn from the clutches of Zargorn. Embark on dangerous quests, as you seek the aid of the Cadre of the Raven's Veil to help stop Zargorn's forces of Dread from destroying the kingdom. Navigate through a dark labyrinth of waterways, an underground city, and more perilous locations. But be wary—for Zargon's forces grow ever stronger with the rise of the Dread Moon! No longer able to see the Heroes, the Wraith further retreats, biding it’s time, waiting for the Heroes to come to it. Their are 3 types of treasure cards which can be “crafted” one which crafts a random potion which isn’t an issue. I think there is already going to be a lot of plastic in this expansion. There’s the new Knight, Several new Elven characters, possible Cultists or Wizard type enemies, and we can’t forget Sir Ragnar. I doubt they’ll include more than one sculpt for the Specter. Any named specters, we’ll probably still have to use the Dread Sorcerer! Squidge, thanks for this insight into your process and passion for this project. Our wizard has been hard at work brewing potions to help our heroes meet the challenge of the Dread Moon. You will see some old favorite elixirs, but without previous hero limitations.

For comparison; the Scout = The Scout (from Frozen Horror), the Arbalist = The Crossbowman, the Glaive = The Halberdier, and the Striker = The Swordsman. Finally, the last reveal, a set of cards representing potions, hopefully some new potions, and some rereleases of past potions. This creates the question, are we still going to get “Equipment” cards for the potions included in this expansion? In the past expansions, the “Alchemists Shop”, was both printed on the inside cover of the quest book, and included “Equipment” cards of the potions. The builder is built using just HTML, CSS and Javascript (with a few 3rd party scripts for some more complex features) – so it’s pretty easy to maintain. Folks who have been using the builder from the first day I announced it will have seen it evolve and change fairly significantly since it launched, and the iterative nature of the development process has naturally happened with this project, which has been really rewarding. In this quest we have a group of Heroes infiltrating a hidden Elven Armoury in the sewers beneath Elethorn. How does one gain Reputation? Reputation is gain as a group, and can be spent as a group. Reputation should be gained 1 for each quest completed.Some of us were hoping for some range with this enemy, but I almost think this is better. We already have the archer to give us range, the Assassin fills in the gap for the close range and diagonals. The monsters countered by dealing heavy blows to the Knight and finally having a successful Channel Dread spell against the Barbarian, dealing 2 Body Points of damage to her. End of the second round of combat. Crafting can only happen at specific times. In between quests, or in the presence of an Alchemist’s Bench. This is interesting, now furniture finally has a purpose other than just sitting there, looking pretty. Don’t get me wrong, it still looks pretty, but it’s nice to have some interaction now.
