Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold is a premium spirit drink made with the finest Caribbean Rum expertly blended with adventurous spice and natural flavours. However, being critical, I have to say that this rum lacks depth in flavour and feels a tad on the bland side, especially compared to a rum like Admiral’s Old J Spiced for example. Captain Morgan Dark Rum is all about the flavours of rich caramel, aged oak, sweet dark brown sugar, oozy toffee, ripe banana flavours. Neat, you can taste the vanilla which gives this rum it’s sweetness, but it’s definitely not overly sweet.With Coca-Cola the burn is mellowed out and what you end up with, is a drink that goes from being easy to consume, to ridiculously easy to consume.
